Drag sensation Glamrou has not been on stage for 6 months! In this scratch night, work-in-progress of their debut solo show, Glamrou battles to merge their queer identity and Islamic heritage. In this blisteringly funny and political debut, watch Glamrou serenade their lover, Allah, with love songs, break-up songs and minaret-sized wigs.“Glamrou’s camp theatrics come with a political edge. It’s striking how transgressive it feels.” The Guardian (4* Denim) “Glamrou is full of heart and soul.” The Scotsman (5* Denim) “Glamrou, the alpha of the group, offers a very provocative take on a Muslim upbringing that’s virtually flirting with a fatwa.” Chortle (4* Denim)
